Date: Saturday January 31st to Thursday 5th February 2026 – a very special Switzerland Snowshoe Trail staying in different Swiss alpine hotels to experience the culture of the area we pass though. We will be eating local foods and drinks as we go. The trail covers 27 kms from start to finish.
Guide: Karin Schmid, 0ur local Swiss Guide with Ginny from the UK WalkingWomen team.
Walking Grade: GOAT 2 – We use Snow Shoes to hike through the snow to get us into beautiful landscapes. Luggage is carried and there will always be the option to take the transport. We have extended the trip this year to have a day to settle and practice around Habkern on Saturday and Sunday. We set off on Monday and snow shoe to Kemmeribodenbad where we spend 2 nights . On Wednesday we continue to Salwideli where we spend the night. On Thursday we snow shoe the final distance to the train station at Sorenberg for our onward travel.
