What is important to us
At WalkingWomen we are passionate about prioritising women-led businesses as our partners and suppliers. Our bank is Starling Bank founded by Anne Boden. Wherever possible we use women run hotels. We seek out women entrepreneurs wherever we go. To encourage, support and collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs and adventurers across the globe inspires us. With our spirit of partnership, we know we can do more and be better.
We are always looking for new partners and entrepreneur friends so do get in touch
Meet…
Emily and Lucy of THE WALKING POST who we are very excited to partner with. They began the Walking Post in 2022, a similar time as Sara and I took on WalkingWomen. They are just like us and love walking and we think it is fantastic to bring what they offer to our WalkingWomen. Lots of ideas for walks and lots of help with routes and some walks they lead to. Check out their website WALKING POST
They will be offering some day walks in collaboration with WalkingWomen.
Walking Post is a website featuring original walking routes around London and the South-East that can be downloaded as GPX files, viewed on OS Maps or used in the form of written directions. Founders Lucy Maddison and Emily Morrison wanted to create a fresh new site with easy-to-follow walking routes accessible by public transport. With Lucy’s lifelong love of maps and Emily’s background in rail holidays and content writing, the idea of the Walking Post was born! Lucy and Emily also offer regular walks throughout the year, open to all.
